Raina Wellman is a current A Public Space creative writing fellow. Her solo show the hidden heart of matter is on view through November 2025.
She teaches art and design courses at Pratt.
Her work has included communications design, art direction, exhibition design, and prop styling. Storytelling, collaboration, and research are key to her practice. Her communications business, Abiogenesis LLC, is M/WBE certified.

Exhibition Design
Exhibition design projects have been featured at A.I.R. Gallery, the RISD Museum, Woods Gerry, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Gelman Gallery.
Art
My art has been exhibited at the RISD Museum, Woods Gerry Gallery, Gelman Gallery, Red Eye Gallery, Benson Hall, and Mailroom Gallery. I teach at Pratt Institute and the School of Visual Art in New York City.
