I’m currently a freelance designer based in New York City. I also work as a Public Access Design Fellow with the Center for Urban Pedagogy and as a Graphic Design Intern for Doctors Without Borders/MSF People Management Unit.
In the past, I’ve worked in graphic design, exhibition design, communications, and journalism at organizations including IDEO, MGMT Design, Siegel + Gale, The American Museum of Natural History, the Santa Fe New Mexican Newspaper, and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
With support from the Maharam Fellowship, I spent the summer of 2019 working with Volunteers in Medicine and the New York Health Department to study and support health service practices in the U.S. as a response to medical coverage issues and community health needs.
I aim to utilize my communications skillset to make complicated subject matter clear and accessible. I am passionate about using graphic design and systems-thinking approaches to communicate complexities and to help people access and understand important services.
I received a BFA with honors from Rhode Island School of Design in Graphic Design with a concentration in Scientific Inquiry. I’m currently a MPH candidate at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public health with a certificate in Infectious Disease Epidemiology and a focus on health communications.
